Start FeatherBlend in the Sparx Hockey App

1. In order to FeatherBlend, you MUST use the Sparx Hockey App.

2. Open the Sparx Hockey mobile app and connect to your Sparx Sharpener 3.

3. Select the HOME tab (far left) from the bottom main navigation banner.

4. Select FeatherBlend.

5. Follow the detailed FeatherBlend instructions displayed in the app.

Important FeatherBlend Requirements and Guidelines

• FeatherBlend is only compatible with the Sparx Sharpener 3.

• The latest Sharpener firmware and latest version of the Sparx Hockey mobile app are required (How to Update The Sparx Sharpener 3 Firmware).

• A FeatherBlend Riser is required.

• The FeatherBlend Kit includes:

  • FeatherBlend Riser

  • Flat Grinding Ring

• Only use the FeatherBlend Riser during FeatherBlend. Remove all other risers, Blade Lifts, and Goalie Risers before beginning.

• A Flat Grinding Ring is recommended for the fastest process and best results. Other Grinding Rings can be used.

• Complete the same number of FeatherBlend passes on both skate blades.

• Never use FeatherBlend on goalie skates or figure skates.

• After FeatherBlend, sharpen normally with your preferred Radius or FIRE Grinding Ring to complete the sharpening process.
