Why is it necessary to adjust height?Updated a year ago

The grinding ring height needs to be adjusted because steel comes in many different heights (not talking about thickness).  Some steel is taller than typical steel so that players can make lower/tighter turns without the skate boot hitting the ice.  Modern goalie skate blades also tend to be taller than typical player skate steel.  Because of this variation, Sparx allows the user to adjust the contact point where the grinding wheel touches the skate blade.
